The Pediatric Evening Clinic is staffed by fully trained and board certified pediatricians and a very experienced and well respected pediatric nurse practitioner.

Dr. Ralph Johns is the owner of the Pediatric Evening Clinic and is a board certified pediatrician and member of the American Academy of Pediatrics.  He is a native South Carolinian, a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina, having moved to Spartanburg when he retired from the United States Air Force in 1993.  He has been practicing pediatrics for over 42 years. An avid gardener, you will see him often in the daytime tending to the many plants and flowers surrounding the Pediatric Evening Clinic.

Dr. Richard Pennebaker is a Board Certified Physician with over 25 years experience in pediatrics. He has extensive pediatric knowledge having previosly worked with both Greenville Hospital System and Spartanburg Regional.

Ms. Becky Brown is a board certified pediatric nurse practitioner and member of the National Association of Pediatric Nurses and Practitioners.  She is a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina/Clemson University Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Program. She had extensive experience in pediatric nursing prior to becoming a pediatric nurse practitioner in 1976.  She has developed a loyal following during her years working in the Upstate resulting in many patients not happy unless their child can see "Ms. Becky."  Ms. Brown works four nights a week, usually Monday through Thursday nights.  She is easily identified by the pink lab coat she frequently sports.

Our friendly Front Desk Staff greets our many patients and their families with professionalism and concern.  Each night, at least one of our front desk staff is fluent in Spanish and English.

Our Nurses and staff are a dedicated and experienced group of professionals, each with their unique resumes.  Most of our staff has daytime jobs in the Spartanburg medical community.  Our staff are here at night because they want to help people, something they get to demonstrate every night.
